What Does Your IT Guy Really Do For You?

Too often, small business owners with websites, seem to think that their IT guy or IT person, is the person that knows everything about their website, including Search Engine Optimization.  The reality is, most IT people are experts about everything else when it comes to computers, mostly their computer network, computer software, and computer viruses.  Brad Gosse talks about IT guys and SEO.  SEO is a whole different skill set in itself.  SEO is about marketing.  SEO is about getting your website to rank high in the search engines for various search terms.  SEO, in essence is just another form of marketing.
