A few years ago, before computers had the power that they do today, I decided to take a bold leap, and change over all my software to Microsoft products. In hindsight, it was more like a surrender to Bill Gates. I know, I know, I should have bought a Mac. Regardless, I didn't, but I'm still not ruling it out someday! Anyhow, one of the main reasons at the time, were the various different conflicts between various different software applications. |

In the last 10 years, Blogging has literally become a full time business for some. Some people do it for a living, and some just for a hobby. If you run a website, or run a business with a website, chances are, you may have been contacted by a Search Engine Optimization company offering to sell you their services. Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is an unregulated industry. Therefore, you have probably heard many different sales pitches from various different companies. I was updating our website tonight, adding some video content, and looking at our feedburner feed statistics. I couldn't help but notice this strange, alien like image staring me in the face. I kept thinking to myself, where have I seen this before? Then it came to me. It was the picture of a Blackberry Messenger barcode on my computer screen. I thought to myself, does Google want me to add them as a contact? Is this a way of getting my feedburner statistics directly to my Blackberry? Why would they be showing this on my computer screen? |
