I read an article this morning regarding Facebook's new Group feature. Groups have been overhauled and apparently Facebook users can add their friends to any group that they choose. Nothing really over exciting about this in terms of concerns. Why shouldn't your friend add you to a group? I think that is a great idea, if you receive a notification that you have been added to the group and you have to approve that. Unfortunately, this is not currently the case. You do not get a say in whether you appear in that group or not.

Not that long ago my wife and I bought a beautiful century old home. As first time home owners we needed lots of stuff for our landscaping chores such as a rake,  a shovel, hose and other goodies. I went online to compare brands and prices for a grass trimmer. During my Google search I noticed one of the largest chain of hardware stores advertising in Google's paid search. My first reaction was: Why would they do that? They spend millions on their advertising through print, radio and television. Then it became clear to me.
